• $200 cleaning fee and $200 damage deposit due on arrival. Damage deposit will be returned at the end of your stay and inspection of the room. Providing there is neither damage nor loss of property  you will receive the full $100 damage deposit. This policy is non-negotiable
   

• We also require a signed agreement, due prior to arrival. One-half of your stay fees required to hold your room. No credit cards (cash preferred or zelle). Balance due 5 days prior to moving in. (Last-minute arrivals are possible depending on availability, so please inquire about how to make arrangements.)
   

• PETS: Because we completely understand how important it is for people to live with their companions, we regret that we do not allow pets. Brigitte's Vegan Home provides a place for those with chemical sensitivities and allergies–people who have difficulties finding places they can safely stay, and companion animals are a major source of allergens.
   

• CANCELLATION POLICY: Notice of cancellation must be given as soon as possible, and in writing (e-mail is OK but receipt must be confirmed). In the event of a cancellation more than 10 days before arrival, all monies paid less a cancellation fee of $100 will be returned to you. In the event of a cancellation less than 5 days before arrival, you will be liable for the whole amount. We will do our utmost to find someone else for the room and if we are successful, will return all monies paid.
   

• NOTE: Hurricane season in South Florida is from June to the end of November. In the event of a hurricane, refunds for unused nights will be provided.

Facilities

• Home Size: 2777 square feet

• Room Size:  200 square feet with Queen Bed

• Accommodation: Self-catering

• Location: In Royal Palm Beach bordering the West Palm Beach border so it's near downtown West Palm Beach, in an quiet residential neighborhood. 

• Theme: Green, vegan, non-toxic cleaners and finishes used.

• TV in room, but no cable. Must use a personal Roku or similar stick. High-speed Wi-Fi available 

• Kitchen/Laundry: Super Angel Juicer, Vita-Mix, Excalibur dehydrator, refrigerator shelf available, no coffee on premises, washing machine and clothes dryer

• There is no microwave due to EMF

• Bathrooms: Two bathrooms, one with tub/shower, the other is a 1/2 bathroom. All shared.

• Sleeping: Sleeps a maximum of two people 

• House Entertainment: Games, radio, books etc.

• Parking: No street parking. Only on property, driveway, grass 

• Suitability: No smoking, or smokers. No strong colognes or perfumes. Vegan food in house only

• Local activities: Beach, films, Everglades, boating, scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, water skiing, tennis, theatre, Museums, golf, shopping

• If you have pesticide sensitivities please note that no sprays are used in the house 

• Wildlife. Butterflies and birds frequent the plants for nectar, foliage, berries, and a safe haven. The back yard has been planted to provide habitat 

• The house does NOT have a fax or cable, but does have 2.4 wifi 

• We really encourage you to use your time in the house to slow down and enjoy the wonderful South Florida climate. Take a break from all the intrusive and stress-producing "modern conveniences" and experience a restful, slower-paced way of life!
